JayResize collects nothing, stores nothing and never goes online. This page says what it does with your photos, and the one permission it asks for.
Everything happens on your device. A photo you choose is read, padded and written back out as a new file — it is never uploaded, never sent anywhere, and never seen by anyone but you. The same is true of video.
They are never modified and never deleted. Every export is a new file.
The only permission the app asks for is to add photos to your library, so it can save what it makes. It does not ask for permission to read your library and cannot browse it. Photos come in through the system picker, which needs no permission and hands the app only the ones you select.
One consequence worth knowing: because the app cannot read the library, a photo chosen through the picker arrives without its original filename. Those exports are numbered instead. Files dragged in keep their names.
Nothing. The size, background and framing you choose last only while the app is open; none of it is saved, and nothing is synced anywhere. Working copies made during an export stay in the app's temporary space on the device.
JayResize makes no network connections at all. There is no account, no server and no update check; updates come through the App Store.
There are none. No analytics, no crash reporting service, no advertising identifiers, no third-party SDKs of any kind.
The optional one-time unlock is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive no personal information from a purchase — only whether this Apple Account is entitled to it.
The app is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, of any age.
